India, July 6 -- The Thai stock market has finished higher in three consecutive sessions, improving almost 30 points or 2 percent along the way. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just above the 1,615-point plateau and it may accelerate on Tuesday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is mixed to higher, with support expected from the technology and oil stocks. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. bourses were up and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.
