India, Aug. 4 -- The Thai stock market has finished lower in consecutive trading days, sinking more than 5 points or 0.3 percent along the way. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just beneath the 1,620-point plateau although it's likely to move back to the upside again on Wednesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat on falling crude oil prices and optimism for an end to hostilities in the Middle East. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
