India, July 7 -- The Thai stock market on Tuesday wrote a finish to the three-day winning streak in which it had improved almost 30 points or 2 percent. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just above the 1,600-point plateau and it's looking at another soft start again on Wednesday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft on renewed hostilities in the Middle East and the corresponding jump in oil prices. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to split the difference.
