India, Sept. 4 -- The Switzerland market's benchmark index SMI ended little changed on Friday after moving along the flat line for much of the day's session, as investors largely refrained from making big moves, choosing to wait for some clear catalysts.
The SMI, which advanced to 14,442.16 after a flat start, dropped to 14,324.47 later on in the day before settling at 14,395.94, up 1.17 points or 0.01% from previous close.
