India, Aug. 31 -- Stryker Corporation (SYK), a medical technology company, on Monday announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire ZuriMED, a privately held developer of the FiberLocker System, a commercialised technology for rotator cuff augmentation.
The FiberLocker System is a soft tissue augmentation technology designed to address a clinical failure mode in rotator cuff repair, a growing segment of sports medicine.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen Stryker's shoulder portfolio in sports medicine and arthroplasty, with a focus on rotator cuff augmentation.
