India, June 27 -- Steve Lacy and SZA have teamed up on "Is It Cool?," a song from Lacy's upcoming album, Oh Yeah?, due out on July 17th via RCA.
The song sees the two artists delve into their struggle with romance and tendencies to self-sabotage.
"Never needed a man/ Tatay died when I was like ten/ I turned out to be just fine/ I just cheat every now and again," Lacy sings in the first verse. "That was hard for me to admit/ 'Cause I really want commit, really, really want commitment."
"Being vulnerable is exhausting, babe/ Can we get naked instead of talking, babe?" SZA sings in the third verse.
