India, Sept. 11 -- Starcore Int'l Ven J (SAM.TO) reported earnings for its first quarter that Increased, from the same period last year

The company's earnings totaled C$3.05 million, or C$0.03 per share. This compares with C$0.927 million, or C$0.01 per share, last year.

The company's revenue for the period rose 21.5% to C$10.50 million from C$8.64 million last year.
