India, Sept. 4 -- Shares of Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (SIMO) are gaining about 7 percent on Friday morning after the company announced that it has completed the first stage of its compliance program for the European Union Cyber Resilience Act.
The company's shares are currently trading at $252.04 on the Nasdaq, up 6.93 percent. The stock opened at $239.23 and has climbed as high as $250.82 so far in today's session. Over the past year, it has traded in a range of $79.76 to $355.00.
