India, June 29 -- Shares of Rocket Lab Corporation (RKLB) are gaining around 8 percent on Monday morning after the company announced a deal to buy Iridium Communications Inc. (IRDM) for $54 per share in cash and stock, representing an enterprise value of around $8 billion.
The company's shares are currently trading at $91.14 on the Nasdaq, up 7.74 percent. The stock opened at $91.42 and has climbed as high as $95.46 so far in today's session. Over the past year, it has traded in a range of $33.73 to $151.00.
