India, Oct. 13 -- On Tuesday, QuickLogic Corporation (QUIK) said it secured a six-figure eFPGA Hard IP design contract for a 16nm automotive SoC used in battery management, precision motor control and industrial robotics. The deal is expected to generate licensing revenue over the next six months, followed by royalties once production shipments begin.
The contract expands QuickLogic's presence in robotics and battery management markets, driven by growth in electric vehicles, energy storage, renewable energy and industrial manufacturing. It also supports the company's strategy to expand eFPGA Hard IP adoption in products requiring long lifecycles and flexible, updatable designs.
