India, July 31 -- Paul McCartney's 20th solo studio album The Boys of Dungeon Lane has been shortlisted for the 2026 Mercury Prize, according to an announcement by the judges at a ceremony in Central London on Thursday (July 30).
The album is among the 12 records shortlisted for the award. Paul joins fellow first-time Mercury Prize nominees Raye, Jade, Dove Ellis and Knats on this year's shortlist.
Previous winners Dave and Suede, along with now four-time nominees Florence And The Machine are also on the list, which also includes Kojey Radical, Nia Archives and Olivia Dean, who have made it to the list for the second time.
