India, July 29 -- Consumer goods major Procter & Gamble Co. (PG), while reporting weak profit and higher revenues in the fourth quarter, on Wednesday issued fiscal 2027 outlook, expecting higher earnings and revenues.
Separately, the company announced that Shailesh Jejurikar has been appointed Chairman of the Board, effective August 1. Jejurikar assumes the position in addition to his role as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Jon Moeller, Executive Chairman, will retire from the Board effective July 31, and from P&G effective August 14.
In the pre-market activity on NYSE, the shares were losing around 3.4 percent, trading at $143.68, after closing tTuesday's regular trading 0.2 percent higher.
