India, Sept. 16 -- Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO) and Anthropic, the developer of Claude AI platform, are joining forces to apply artificial intelligence to drug discovery and development, with the collaboration aimed at helping Novo identify and develop new medicines faster.
The companies will work on drug discovery challenges identified by Novo's scientists and computational teams, using Anthropic's AI models and Claude Science to support biological reasoning and specific research and development (R&D) workflows. The collaboration builds on Novo's stated ambition to become the world's most AI-driven healthcare company.
