India, July 24 -- On Friday, Noodles & Company (NDLS), a restaurant chain, reported a narrower loss in the second quarter of 2026 due to lower costs and expenses and a lower loss from operations. Furthermore, the company raised its outlook for the full fiscal year of 2026.

On Nasdaq in the pre-market activity, the shares were trading 14.25 percent high at $14.11, after closing Thursday's trading 2.37 percent down.

Net loss for the period narrowed to $3.95 million, from the loss of $17.55 million in the same quarter last year. Loss per share went down to $0.67, from $3.04 in the previous year.

Total costs and expenses narrowed to $128.68 million, from $141.21 million a year ago.
