India, Aug. 11 -- Former Smiths frontman Morrissey has canceled his scheduled four-night Las Vegas residency shortly before its planned start, citing "unforeseen logistical challenges."
The shows, originally set for August 14, 15, 18 and 19 at the Wynn Las Vegas' Encore Theater, were intended to support his latest album, Make-Up Is A Lie, released in March via Sire Records. The dates have since been removed from the Wynn's website.
"The shows cannot happen for logistical reasons outside of Morrissey's control," a statement announced.
Morrissey's remaining U.S. dates, including appearances at Chicago's Riot Fest and Brooklyn's CBGB Festival, are still scheduled. He is also due to headline Huntington Beach's Darker Waves Festival before co...
