India, Oct. 30 -- Moleculin Biotech, Inc. (MBRX) announced that it has completed patient dosing in Part A of its pivotal Phase 2/3 MIRACLE trial evaluating Annamycin in combination with cytarabine (AnnAraC) for adults with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (R/R AML).
The randomized, double-blind Part A includes 90 patients and compares two doses of Annamycin plus cytarabine with a control arm of cytarabine plus placebo. The company expects to report comprehensive data from the full patient population in the first quarter of 2027.
