India, Aug. 30 -- The Indonesia stock market ticked lower again on Friday, one day after ending the two-day slide in which it had given up more than 120 points or 1.9 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just beneath the 6,520-point plateau and it may open in the red again on Monday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft on pessimism over the outlook for interest rates. The European markets were up and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to follow the latter lead.
