India, Aug. 14 -- LG Corp. (003550.KS) said it signed a memorandum of understanding with NVIDIA to expand their collaboration in physical AI, including humanoid robots, AI factories and future mobility. Under the agreement, LG is developing a next-generation two-legged humanoid robot for public unveiling in the first quarter of 2027.
The robot will use NVIDIA Isaac GR00T for reasoning, NVIDIA Jetson Thor for onboard computing and NVIDIA Halos for safety. Its hardware is built internally using LG Electronics actuators, LG Innotek sensors, and LG Energy Solution batteries.
LG also plans to deploy its wheel-based robot, LG CLOiD, at its Tennessee washing machine plant this year to validate real-world production performance. The company will ...
