India, July 30 -- LG Energy Solution, Ltd. (373220.KS), the South Korean energy solutions provider, Thursday reported lower operating income for the second quarter compared to the same period last year. However, revenue increased by 24.8 percent.
Quarterly operating income decreased 77 percent to KRW 113.3 billion from KRW 492.1 billion of last year.
The company reported a net loss of KRW 328.6 billion for the second quarter compared with earnings of KRW 90.6 billion of previous year.
Nonetheless, revenue increased to KRW 7.56 trillion from KRW 6.05 trillion of prior year.
Currently, shares are trading at KRW 316,500, up 5.33% on the Korean Stock Exchange.
