India, July 3 -- Rock legends KISS have announced the release of KISS Destroys Anaheim '76 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the band's most iconic concerts.
On August 20, 1976, KISS performed before their largest audience to date, drawing 42,000 fans, with opening acts including Montrose, Bob Seger and Ted Nugent.
KISS Destroys Anaheim '76 will be released on August 21 on CD, SHM-CD, and three vinyl editions via Ume.
Originally recorded by Eddie Kramer during the 1976 concert, the performance has been newly mixed by Kramer from the original multi-track tapes. KISS Destroys Anaheim '76 marks the first official release of the historic show.
