India, July 16 -- Kenmare Resources plc (KMR.L) said on Thursday that it remains on track to achieve its 2026 shipments guidance, with first-half shipments in line with the company's planned run rate, despite softer-than-expected production.
The company now expects ilmenite production of approximately 800,000 tonnes in 2026 after weaker output during the first half of the year.
Heavy Mineral Concentrate (HMC) production fell 37% year over year to 225,000 tonnes in the second quarter.
Ilmenite production declined 40% to 147,200 tonnes, reflecting lower HMC volumes processed. Primary zircon production decreased 26% to 9,700 tonnes.
