India, Sept. 26 -- CBS and MTV have announced a special tribute to Dolly Parton with a performance by Kacey Musgraves during the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.
Hosted by Snoop Dogg, the VMAs will air Sunday, September 27, at 7:30 PM, ET/4:30 PM, PT, on the CBS Television Network, simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+ (Premium) in the U.S. The show will also be available globally the next day on Paramount+ and MTV.
Musgraves returns to the VMAs stage for her first performance in five years, paying tribute to the iconic Dolly Parton. With three career nods, Musgraves is nominated this year in Best Country for "Dry Spell."
