India, Oct. 26 -- Seven-time Grammy Award-winner John Mayer recently released a new single, "Tom and Jerry," via his own record label, Sob Rock Records, in partnership with Mercury Records.
The single marks Mayer's first new solo release since the Sob Rock album, which arrived in 2021.
Mayer co-produced the song with Blake Slatkin. Serban Genhea mixed the track, which was recorded at Chaplin Studios in Hollywood, CA.
"You only want me when you got someone / You only want me when it's wrong / Come out and just tell me / What you've been thinkin' all along," Mayer sings on the track. "It's not too late / It's easy if you try / Whatever his name is / Just tell him goodbye."
