India, Sept. 17 -- The Indonesia stock market on Thursday wrote a finish to the six-day losing streak in which it had tumbled more than 250 points or 3.8 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now sits just above the 6,460-point plateau and it's likely to open to the upside again on Friday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is positive on bargain hunting and easing oil prices and treasury yields. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to follow suit.
