India, Oct. 6 -- The Indonesia stock market has moved higher in three straight sessions, climbing almost 185 points or 2.8 percent in that span. The Jakarta Composite Index now sits just above the 6,190-point plateau and it's likely to open to the upside again on Wednesday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat thanks to softening oil prices and treasury yields. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
