India, Aug. 27 -- The Indonesia stock market on Thursday wrote a finish to the two-day slide in which it had given up more than 120 points or 1.9 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just above the 6,520-point plateau and it's expected to open higher again on Friday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets mixed to higher with optimism from technology stocks likely capped by a spike in crude oil prices. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses figure to split the difference.
