India, April 15 -- The Indonesia stock market on Wednesday ended the five-day winning streak in which it had surged more than 700 points or 10 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just above the 7,620-point plateau although it's likely to rebound on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is murky, with profit taking warring with support from the oil and technology sectors. The European and U.S. markets were mixed and the Asian bourses are expected to behave similarly.
