India, Oct. 22 -- Inchcape PLC (INCH.L), a global automotive distributor, Thursday lowered its fiscal 2026 operating margin forecast to about 5.5% from around 6%, as ongoing challenges in Australia weigh on performance.
On the LSE, Inchcape shares were down nearly 8% at 636.50p.
The company now expects adjusted earnings per share (EPS) growth of about 10%, compared with its previous forecast of more than 10%.
Inchcape said its key brand in Australia underperformed amid declining competitiveness in a rapidly changing market. It plans further action alongside its ongoing restructuring efforts, but expects the market challenges to continue affecting results.
