India, Sept. 26 -- IMUNON Inc. (IMNN), a clinical-stage biotechnology company, last week announced a positive recommendation from an Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC) regarding Phase 2 minimal residue disease (MRD) trial for IMNN-001 in ovarian cancer. IMNN-001 is an IL-12 DNA plasmid vector encased in a nanoparticle delivery system that transfects cells and secretes the IL-12 proteins. This brings about a concerted anti-cancer effect through T-lymphocyte and natural killer cell proliferation.
