India, Oct. 20 -- Heartland Express, Inc. (HTLD) reported third quarter net income of $1.0 million, as compared to a net loss of $8.3 million in the third quarter of 2025. Basic earnings per share was $0.01, as compared to a basic loss per share of $0.11.
Operating revenues were $179.5 million, compared to $196.5 million in the same period of 2025. Operating revenues for the quarter included fuel surcharge revenues of $32.7 million, compared to $24.1 million in the same period of 2025.
Heartland Express shares are trading at $10.30 on NasdaqGS, down 2.19 percent.
