India, Aug. 10 -- GoPro, Inc. (GPRO) reported Monday that its second-quarter net loss widened to $51.0 million, or $0.30 per share, from $16.4 million, or $0.10 per share, in the year-ago quarter.

Adjusted net loss was $35.8 million, or $0.21 per share, compared with $12.0 million, or $0.08 per share, in the prior-year quarter.

Revenue for the quarter fell 31.3% to $104.9 million from $152.6 million a year earlier. Camera sell-through declined 38% year-over-year to approximately 291,000 units.

Subscription and service revenue, however, increased 10.6% to $29.0 million and accounted for 28% of total revenue, compared with 17% a year earlier. The subscriber attach rate reached a record 69%, up from 54% in the prior-year quarter.
