India, Oct. 7 -- On Wednesday, Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (GILT, GILT.TA) announced that it has received more than $10 million in orders from a leading satellite operator for its multi-orbit SkyEdge IV platform. The systems are expected to be delivered over the next 12 months.

The orders reflect continued demand for advanced connectivity services and will support the growth of high-capacity satellite networks for applications such as in-flight connectivity (IFC). Gilat's SkyEdge IV platform is designed to handle growing traffic volumes and support a wide range of services efficiently.

On the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the shares closed Wednesday's trading 2.46 percent up at 2,787.00 Israeli Shekels.
