India, Sept. 16 -- On Wednesday, Finseta plc (FIN.L), a fintech company, reported wider loss in the first half of 2026, compared to the same half last year due to lower revenue generated and higher expenses.

Loss before tax widened to 1.62 million pounds from 0.26 million pounds a year ago.

Loss for the period went up to 1.34 million pounds or 2.09 pence per share from 0.21 million pounds or 0.37 pence per share in the prior year.

Adjusted EBITDA loss was 1.02 million pounds, compared to the earnings of 0.29 million pounds in the previous year.

Administrative expenses increased to 5.11 million pounds from 3.92 million pounds a year ago.

Revenue for the period dropped to 5.38 million pounds from 5.86 million pounds in the prior year.
