India, Oct. 20 -- Shares of Equifax Inc. (EFX) are gaining 12 percent in Tuesday morning trading after the company announced its third-quarter financial results, reporting earnings of $211.7 million, or $1.79 per share, compared to $160.2 million, or $1.29 per share, in the prior year.
The company's shares are currently trading at $176.84 on the NYSE, gaining 11.52 percent in the latest session. The stock opened at $166.11 and touched an intraday high of $176.98. Over the past 12 months, the shares have traded between $137.01 and $238.94.
