India, Aug. 7 -- E-L Financial Corporation Ltd. (ELF.TO) released earnings for its second quarter that Increased, from the same period last year

The company's earnings came in at C$1.011 billion, or C$2.85 per share. This compares with C$365 million, or C$1.02 per share, last year.

The company's revenue for the period rose 103.5% to C$1.736 billion from C$853 million last year.
