India, May 15 -- Dua Lipa has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Samsung over unauthorized use of her image on TV boxes.

The complaint, filed by Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP with the United States District Court in the Central District of California, alleges that Samsung "prominently featured" Dua Lipa's image and likeness on its television boxes in 2025-26 to sell TVs without permission or compensation. It names copyright infringement, trademark infringement and violation of Dua Lipa's right of publicity.

The suit states that Lipa became aware of Samsung using her image in June 2025 and at that time demanded the electronics company cease and desist.
