India, Aug. 31 -- The U.S. Dollar staged a strong comeback during the week ended August 28 amidst hawkish hints from Kevin Warsh at his first speech as Fed Chair at the Jackson Hole symposium. Economic data releases during the week including the sticky PCE-based inflation readings also boosted the dollar.

During the past week, the U.S. dollar inter alia rallied against the euro, the British pound, the Australian dollar, the Japanese yen, the Swedish krona, the Canadian dollar and the Swiss franc.
