India, Aug. 24 -- The Descartes Systems Group Inc. (DSGX,DSG.TO), a Canadian technology company, Monday announced that it has acquired Tai Software, a California-based provider of AI-powered transportation management solutions for freight brokers, in a deal valued at about $100 million.
Tai's platform helps brokers manage the shipment lifecycle across truckload, less-than-truckload, drayage and cross-border operations, unifying quoting, carrier sourcing, load execution, billing and customer engagement.
Descartes said the acquisition expands its transportation management capabilities and adds valuable transaction, carrier and shipment execution data to its Global Logistics Network.
