India, May 8 -- The DAX benchmark that tracks the performance of the 40 largest companies listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange extended losses on Thursday amidst a fresh round of hostilities between the U.S. and Iran on the issue of transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
The DAX benchmark has declined 1.1 percent to trade at 24,407.14 versus 24,671.54 at the previous close. The day's trading ranged between a high of 24,514.80 and a low of 24,384.75.
