India, Aug. 24 -- The Czech economy's confidence remained slightly less positive in August, and consumers also expressed a less optimistic attitude, survey results from the Czech Statistical Office showed on Monday.
The economic sentiment index dropped to 100.5 in August from 101.1 in July. Nonetheless, a score above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook.
The business confidence index remained stable at 100. 2. Among sectors, industrial confidence improved to 98.1 from 97.8, while the morale for the construction eased from 113.2 to 112.6.
