India, April 24 -- After four consecutive sessions of gains, crude oil slumped on Friday as the prospects of a peace deal between U.S. and Iran gather steam, lowering Middle East tensions.

WTI Crude Oil for June month delivery was last seen trading down by $1.68 (or 1.75%) at $94.17 per barrel.
