India, Sept. 3 -- The Indonesia stock market moved higher again on Thursday, one day after ending the two-day winning streak in which it had added more than 80 points or 1.2 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just beneath the 6,670-point plateau and it's got a solid lead for Friday's trade.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is upbeat on an improved outlook for interest rates. The European and U.S. markets were up and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
