India, April 23 -- The Indonesia stock market has moved lower in four straight sessions, slumping more than 250 points or 3.4 percent in that span. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just beneath the 7,380-point plateau and it's likely to open under pressure again on Friday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft on surging crude oil prices that correspond with tensions in the Middle East. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to open lower.
