India, Sept. 14 -- Castor Maritime Inc. (CTRM), a shipping company, on Monday reported higher profit for the second quarter of 2026, compared with the same quarter a year earlier, helped by higher revenue and a gain from equity method investments measured at fair value.
Net income attributable to common shareholders was $16.41 million or $0.31 per share, compared with $3.27 million or $0.10 per share a year earlier.
The improvement reflected a $23.12 million gain from equity method investments measured at fair value, compared with a $1.55 million gain in the prior-year quarter.
Excluding one-time items, adjusted income was $11.65 million compared with $2.02 million last year.
