India, Sept. 24 -- BlackBerry Limited (BB) Thursday reported second-quarter net income of $33.9 million or $0.05 per share, compared with $13.3 million or $0.02 per share a year earlier.
Adjusted net income increased 79% year-over-year to $43.2 million or $0.07 from $24.2 million or $0.04 per share last year.
Revenue for the quarter increased 26% year-over-year to $163.3 million from $129.6 million last year.
QNX revenue increased 27% to $80.3 million, with adjusted EBITDA rising 41% to $29.0 million. QNX also secured its first Alloy Kore design win, described by BlackBerry as the largest in its history, adding more than $100 million to its royalty backlog.
