India, Nov. 4 -- BioVie Inc. (BIVI), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing therapies for neurological disorders and advanced liver disease, announced a $4.74 million registered direct offering and a concurrent private placement of warrants with a healthcare-focused institutional investor.
Under the registered direct offering, BioVie will sell 2,962,500 shares of common stock, or common stock equivalents, at $1.60 per share.
The concurrent private placement includes warrants to purchase up to an additional 2,962,500 shares at an exercise price of $1.70 per share.
The warrants will become exercisable six months after issuance and will expire five and a half years from the issuance date.
