India, Aug. 13 -- Biofrontera Inc. (BFRI), a U.S. biopharmaceutical company focused on dermatology and photodynamic therapy (PDT), reported second-quarter 2026 results showing sharp improvement in revenues and profitability compared with the prior year.

Net product revenue rose to $12.0 million, up 32.9%, compared $9.0 million in Q2 2025, driven by both price increase and higher unit volumes, with some orders pulled forward due to regulatory development.
Gross margin expanded to 80%, compared to 71% a year earlier, reflecting a more favorable Ameluz cost structure following the October 2025 strategic transaction with Biofrontera AG.
