India, July 18 -- Beck has announced he will release a new album, Ride Lonesome, his first new record in seven years, on September 18th via Capitol Records. He also released a new single, "In the Night," along with an accompanying visual.
Beck recorded the 12-song Ride Lonesome with Smokey Hormel, Joey Waronker, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Roger Joseph Manning Jr., and Jason Falkner. The songs were mixed by Nigen Godrich, who worked with Beck on Sea Change and Mutations.
