India, Oct. 19 -- Bausch Health Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Bausch Health Companies Inc. (BHC), announced expanded public reimbursement for PrOKEDI (risperidone extended-release injectable suspension) 75 mg and 100 mg for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults.
PrOKEDI is now covered for eligible patients under public drug plans in seven Canadian provinces: Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Coverage is also available through federal drug plans administered by the Non-Insured Health Benefits Program, Veterans Affairs Canada, the Department of National Defence and Correctional Service Canada.
