India, Aug. 26 -- Australia's consumer price inflation moderated to an eight-month low in July, data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday.
Consumer prices rose 3.5 percent on a yearly basis, following a 3.8 percent rise in June. This was the weakest since last November. Inflation was expected to slow to 3.3 percent.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices advanced 1.0 percent, reversing a 0.1 percent fall in the previous month.
